Dongo Paco Foundation is a Ugandan NGO working to empower communities and promote sustainable development. Our name reflects our mission: “Dongo” translates to “development,” and “Paco” translates to “home” or “community.” In essence, we strive to be at the heart of progress, “Helping at the Origin.”
Our Focus Areas
Education
As a core focus, we sponsor the Adilang VTI, a vocational school providing valuable skills training to the Adilang village community.
Agriculture
We provide training and resources to help communities develop sustainable agricultural practices and increase their income.
Health and Nutrition
We recognize that health and nutrition are fundamental to the well-being and development of individuals and communities
Water, Sanitation and Environment
We work to ensure access to clean water and sanitation facilities for all communities.
Culture, Tourism, and Heritage
We celebrate and preserve Ugandan culture, while also promoting sustainable local tourism practices.
