The sun rises over the vibrant village of Adilang, Uganda, casting its warm glow on a beacon of hope: the Adilang Vocational Training Institute (AVTI). Just a few years ago, this very spot was a field of dreams, envisioned by the Dongo Paco Foundation (DPF) as a place to empower young people with the skills they need to build brighter futures. Today, that dream is a thriving reality.
The construction of the Adilang VTI was a monumental undertaking, made possible through the unwavering support of our incredible partner, Helfen am Ursprung, and the dedication of the DPF team and the Adilang community. The school’s doors officially opened in [Year], and since then, it has transformed the lives of countless young people.
Equipping the Next Generation
The Adilang VTI offers a variety of vocational programs, including agriculture, ICT (Information and Communication Technology), fashion design and tailoring, and more. These programs are specifically designed to address the needs of the local economy and equip graduates with in-demand skills.
